Arm Candy: The Layered Wrist Look

arm candy
n. Slang
A very attractive person who accompanies another to public gatherings but is not romantically involved with that person. (thefreedictionary.com)

Or in this case it's your wrist saying " I KNOW YOU SEE ME ;-)"  The layered bracelet trend has been popping off for a few seasons now and it looks as if it is here to stay.  I have always like wearing multiple bracelets.  I can recall when it was referred to as being gaudy or gypsyish. Coco Chanel is clutching her pearls at this trend!  Here are some tips on how to pull it off.

Color
To create a simple, cohesive look, stick to bracelets in the same color story. A jeweled tone watch pairs well with earthy metals, like a brass cuff and rose-gold bangles

Texture
A delicate chain bracelet can easily get lost next to a chunky watch, so keep size and texture in mind. Mix stones with other stones,  while an oversized, polished  bracelet looks best next to an equally shiny, enameled bangle or watch.

Style
The easiest thing to do is to match the bracelets to the outfit. Thin bangles and a classic watch complement a feminine dress.  An edgier look benefits from studded bracelets and a tough leather  cuff.
As with any trend, make this one your own. Add your unique twist to it.  And have fun!!!!

  1. I like "it's your wrist saying I know you see me" I'm a fan. I especially love a huge watch and funky bracelets.
